Since its founding in 2016, Chin Chin Pottery (青青土氣) has welcomed people from all walks of life with a shared passion for exploring the world of clay. Beyond offering pottery classes, the studio also serves as a community space, regularly hosting monthly exhibitions by local and international artists in its gallery.
Chin Chin Pottery also facilitates artist talks and exchange sessions, creating opportunities for artists to gather and share their expertise and experiences, while fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for both the public and fellow creatives.
In recent years, Chin Chin Pottery has actively cultivated connections and collaborations with international studios and institutions. We have organized numerous workshops and exchange programs, including the Hansaram Summer Residency in Posio, Finland, collaborations with AKCC in Icheon, South Korea, and hands on workshops with Unkyo Kiln in Shigaraki, Japan.
We look forward to sharing the creative energy of Taiwanese ceramics with you.
We warmly invite you to join us in Tainan,a city full of everyday vitality and become part of our gentle community. When you are not immersed in working with clay or participating in the firing process, take time to wander through the city’s narrow alleys, discovering hidden cafés, welcoming bars, and charming local eateries, while experiencing the warmth and hospitality of Taiwan.
