《遞變系列 Chanced Formations : On becoming some-thing(s) 》的概念起於藝術家 Tok Yu - Xiang ( Todd ) ， 2016年起在世界各地不同陶瓷工作室中發掘閒置的各式陶瓷媒材，本以直覺與對物件的好奇、反覆逡巡，將物件解構、重組、堆疊、破壞、燒製再燒製，進而發展為一種對於既有形式的質疑。

｜藝術家簡介｜

主修陶瓷的卓俞翔，自新加坡拉薩爾藝術學院畢業後，來台就讀國立台南藝術大學應用藝術研究所，而後，更獲頒台北駐新加坡代表處之獎學金，持續攻讀國立台南藝術大學的藝術創作理論研究所博士。其作品風格融合粗獷與優雅，追求本質與物件的深層內涵。

對陶瓷充滿熱忱的卓俞翔，曾經參與印尼陶藝雙年展以及中國西安陶藝論壇，擁有美國、韓國、日本、歐洲等駐村的豐富創作歷程，加上在台灣、新加坡、歐美等不同地方教授並推廣陶瓷與柴燒技術的經驗，都令其作品兼具宏觀視野，以及對商業、原料、新自由主義等議題的深刻價值反思，為極具潛力的新一代陶瓷藝術家。

Yu-Xiang Tok, from Singapore, graduated from Lasalle College of the Arts with a major in ceramics. He came to Taiwan to study applied Arts at Tainan National University of the Arts. After that, he was awarded a scholarship by Taipei Representative Office in the Republic of Singapore. The style of his work is a combination of rough and elegant, and the pursuit of essence and connotation.

Yu-Xiang Tok is a promising ceramic artist of the new generation. He had participated in the Indonesian Ceramic Biennale and the Xi'an Ceramic Forum in China. He has extensive Artist-in-Residence (AIR) experience in the United States, South Korea, Japan, and Europe, as well as teaching and promoting ceramic and wood-fired techniques in Taiwan, Singapore, Europe and The United States. The above experience gives his works a macro vision and value reflection on business, materials, neoliberalism, and other issues.
